St James takes top spot at Rotary Public Speaking Competition

On Tuesday 24th October, two Year Six students; Kaylan Deane and Kiana Angus participated in the Rotary Public Speaking Competition.  They both worked tirelessly to write and practice their speech.  Kaylan’s topic was ‘Lies told at school’ and Kiana’s topic was ‘The problem with teenagers today’.  They both did a fantastic job on the night and both came away with awards.  Kaylan was awarded the overall Public Speaking Winner and Kiana was awarded the Chairman’s award.  St James is very proud of you both.  Well done!
