The staff started early cooking up a storm of egg and bacon muffins, hash browns, coffee, tea and juice. It was wonderful to see so many of our Dads spending the morning with their children here at school.
Afterwards we came together in the St James Church to celebrate a Father’s Day Liturgy and Eucharist, led by Deacon Tony.
Dads stayed on at school catching up with other Dads over a cuppa and visiting the children’s classrooms and then to cheer students on with interschool sport against St Johns Kooweerup
A sausage sizzle was enjoyed by all for lunch to finish up what will no doubt be another treasured memory for the children of St James.
